Service and detour messages
TransiCast loads service and detour messages when querying departure predications
from the selected Transit Data Server. If service and
detour messages differ from the most recent messages, TransiCast displays a
detour icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
The detour icon remains on-screen until the messages have been
displayed. Call the Detours menu to display the service and detour messages.
This action clears the detour icon from the screen, until the reported messages change
again.
Service detours are connected to routes. Where available, the service vehicles operating on
detoured routes are displayed with the detour icon in the right corner of the
vehicle label. The following screenshot shows an example of a detour message.
